Drawings with Natural Materials
These drawings are done using inks made from natural materials which I collect locally. Materials collected include copper, rust, blackberries, elderberries, buckthorn berries, clay, golden rod, oak leaves, maple leaves. The drawings are on mylar. Although the images often refer to human intervention of the landscape, the combination of the images with the materials present a consideration of time and process, order and randomness.
